Strawberry Ice Cream- no machine 

No machine strawberry ice cream
Only 3 ingredients and a blender. This is all you need to make homemade strawberry ice cream. 

I have a lot of kitchen appliances, but I don’t have an ice cream maker. I have seen several posts on Instagram of no machine ice cream. The recipe is very simple and they vary from one recipe to another. Some combine strawberries, frozen bananas, and yogurt. Others use coconut cream instead of heavy whipping cream. And some use sweetened condensed milk, like this recipe I’m sharing here. 

I didn’t believe that this would work without an ice cream maker, but it really did. The ice cream is very creamy and tastes amazing. I added lemon zest because I do like a citrus flavor infused with berries. But if you want a more traditional strawberry flavor, don’t add anything else. 

So here is my recipe of a super easy homemade no machine strawberry ice cream.

Ingredients:

1 lb frozen strawberries 

1 can sweetened condensed milk 

250 ml heavy whipping cream 

*zest of 1 lemon (optional)


1. Place a bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes before whipping the cream. 

2. Place frozen strawberries into a blender and let them sit there for 5 minutes. 

3. Blend until purée. 


4. Take the bowl out of the freezer add cold whipping cream and beat on medium speed until firm.  Add lemon zest if you like. 


5. Slowly add strawberry mixture over the cream and fold carefully with an spatula. 



6. Place into a chilled container and freeze (minimum 6 hours to overnight). 


Enjoy!!! It’s so good.

Ingredients:

3. Blend until puréed. Set aside. 

4. Take the bowl out of the freezer add cold whipping cream and beat on medium speed until firm. Add lemon zest if you like. 

5. Slowly add strawberry mixture over the cream and fold carefully with an spatula. 

6. Place into a chilled container and freeze (minimum 6 hours to overnight).
