Cinnamon Glazed Pumpkin Donut Holes

 

Pumpking Donut Holes

Delicious and easy cinnamon glazed pumpkin donut holes. You don’t have to go to a coffee shop to buy donut holes. You can make them at home and enjoy freshly baked donut holes.

I have a cake pop/ donut hole maker. But you can certainly use a cake pop mold and bake them in your conventional oven.

This recipe is so practical because it is a batter and not a dough which requires rising time.

These donut holes are a perfect treat for a cold fall afternoon.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

Pinch of salt

3 tablespoons butter (soft)

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup pumpkin purée

1 eggs

3 tablespoons milk

Instructions:

  •  Place all dry ingredients into a medium bowl and whisk.
  • In a large bowl cream butter and sugar together. Add egg, pumpkin purée and milk and beat at medium speed for 1-2 minutes.

  • Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and fold. Do not over mix.

•Spray cake pop maker or cake pop mold well with baking spray.

**I’m using a cake pop/ donut hole maker.

  • Add 1 tablespoon of batter per well.

  • Bake for 5-6 minutes or until the light of your cake pop maker lights up.

  • Let the donut holes cool completely before glazing.

**Cinnamon glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 tablespoons milk

•Mix all ingredients until smooth.

  • Dip donut holes into the glaze and let them cool on a cookie rack to harden the glaze.
