Smoothie bowls are so versatile. You can blend any kind of fruit you like with yogurt, milk or coconut water, with fruit juice. You can also add some nut butter and honey to make it creamier and sweet.

Also the nut butter adds more protein to your smoothie. And the fun part is the topping. Because the smoothie is in a bowl, you have more room for toppings. They can be more fruits and some nuts or granola, topped with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. Oh, so good!!! I just love smoothie bowls.

Today my suggestion for you is this almond butter banana-berry smoothie bowl. It is very nutritious and packed with protein. I used plain organic yogurt, coconut milk, unsweetened almond butter, honey and delicious fruits.

Ingredientes:

1 banana

1/2 cup frozen raspberries

2 fresh strawberries

3/4 cup plain yogurt (I used whole milk) you can also use Greek yogurt

1/4 cup coconut milk (can be 2% cow’s milk if you prefer)

2 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons unsweetened almond butter

Prepare:

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend for 2 minutes or until very smooth. Place into a bowl 😋.

  • Sliced strawberries
  • Sliced bananas
  • Blueberries
  • Granola
  • Shredded coconut
